It creeps like a shadow, silent, cold,

A weight too heavy, a story untold.

Each second, each thought, a jagged edge,

Carving into a mind already on the ledge.

The pressure builds, a scream in my chest,

A relentless pounding, no moment of rest.

My breath is a stranger, shallow, tight,

Each inhale a battle, each exhale a fight.

And then, it comes – the breaking point,

A crack in the soul, the shattering joint.

I’m no longer here, I’m no longer whole,

Just fragments of panic that swallow me whole.

I see myself rage, but I’m far away,

A puppet of pain, with no words to say.

The fire inside consumes the air,

And I’m burning alive, yet unaware.
